Safety is our #1 Core Value

Safety

HMI is committed to the health and safety of all employees and it is at the forefront of our everyday operations. Our employees are our most valuable asset and that is why our main goal is to send each employee home the same way they arrived.

HMI Uses the Following in Their Effort Towards Safety

  • Emphasis on safety training for all employees
  • Weekly toolbox talks on jobsites
  • Frequent jobsite safety inspections by the Safety Director
  • Encouragement for all employees to speak up and address hazards
  • Employee rewards program

COVID-19

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, HMI has implemented policies, procedures, and best practices to protect our workers. Some of our COVID initiatives include: daily employee screenings, sanitization/disinfectant stations on all jobsites, social distancing whenever possible, virtual meetings/limit on in person meetings, etc.

As the pandemic continues and local, state, and federal responses evolve, HMI is continually monitoring and assessing all policies to make changes as needed.
